Screening of the documentary Hush
Emily’s Voice and pregnancy support centre Project Esther are jointly hosting the screening of the Hush documentary in Tasmania in March. The award-winning ‘inconvenient truth’ style documentary follows a pro-choice journalist's investigations into links between abortion and breast cancer, abortion and pre-term birth in subsequent pregnancies, and abortion and psychological effects on women.

Tasmania's Anti-discrimination Commissioner is currently considering a complaint against Archbishop Porteous for the publication of the booklet "Don't mess with marriage: a pastoral letter from the Catholic Bishops of Australia to all Australians on the same-sex marriage debate".
Mark Brown, Director of ACL Tasmania quite rightly points out "if the claim against His Grace is upheld it could set a dangerous precedent against the proclamation of biblical truth in Tasmania."
