Today, at the European Parliament Headquarters, it was presented the International Statement Women of the World, an initiative promoted by the Spanish organization Profesionales por la Ética (Professionals for Ethics) in coalition with Femina Europa (France) and Woman Attitude (Belgium).

andrewrobinson 150The Catholic Women’s League 59th State Conference is being held in Hobart this weekend, 10-12th October.

The first key note speaker was Professor Andrew Robinson from the School of Health Sciences at the University of Tasmania. Professor Robinson gave an astounding presentation on Dementia. He highlighted the importance of educating society on the ramifications of dementia and the consequences of the disease on not only the patient but family, friends and health care professionals. Professor Robinson spoke with great passion on the work of the Dementia Centre here in Tasmanian and their alliance with the University of Tasmania.
